the criminology and criminal justice network
Hello, I am starting year two in september and am using last years 'handbooks' to read around the area, I have come across, 'environment, crime and control' and 'the emergence of formal crime control'
Can any one point me in the right direction of where to read?
Many thanks.

Environmental Criminology by Brantingham would be a good start. There are loads of books around environmental crim and crime control, most undergraduate textbooks like Criminological perspectives will have chapters in them. I think there is a section in the oxford hanbook of criminology too.

Pretty good for CPTED and actual fact environmental adjustment for policing and controlling criminal activity.
