Final call for papers - sex work session at the British Society of Criminology Conference

FINAL CALL FOR PAPERS –Open sex work session at the British Society of Criminology Conference.

Northumbria University is hosting the British Society of Criminology annual conference - 3rd-6^th July 2011.

I am seeking papers for an open session on sex work – papers exploring any aspect of the sex industry/sex work/sexual labour are welcome.

The deadline for abstracts is April 11^th, please note that this is earlier than the main call for papers as they need to go for review, and then I need to organize them into panels for submission by April 17^th.

There are several bursaries available for PhD students – info about these is available on the website.

To submit an abstract

• Please submit your abstract to me at mary.whowell@northumbria.ac.uk not through the main system
• Please include in your submission
  • Names of lead author (and second author if applicable)
  • Who will be attending (if two presenters will both be attending?)
  • Full name, title and position.
  • Organisation
  • Telephone number, email
  • Title of paper and abstract (250 words)
• Please put all of this information on one word document and attach it to the email.
• Please submit your abstract  to me by Monday April 11th
