The City of Commerce City is currently accepting applications for a full time Police Services Technician. This position is responsible for performing criminal justice-related information management duties. 

We are seeking a highly accurate, detail-oriented and organized individual to perform a variety of complex responsibilities to include researching, entering, and retrieving data, responding to citizens' inquiries by phone and in-person, and reading, classifying, coding and filing records.

We're looking for an energetic individual who can multi-task and who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Outstanding problem-solving skills, excellent customer service, and creative thinking are necessary assets.

Requires a minimum 2 yrs. of clerical/data entry experience, HS/GED, and minimum 40 wpm typing. CCIC/NCIC certification and proficiency in Microsoft Suite of products preferred.  Experience working in a law enforcement environment is highly desirable.

Must be able to work 10-hour shifts to include graves, swings, days, weekends and holidays.  Bilingual a plus.  We are staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. An eligibility list may be established for this position.
