The Higher Education Academy has launched a UK travel fund that will help staff and students in UK higher education to exchange and disseminate good practice in learning, teaching and assessment, and engage with their peers.

There are a couple of notable articles in ELiSS, one of which is from the LTN's own Phil Johnson. Phil says his paper proposes 'the use of visual assessment methods for students in the social sciences at the University of the Future'. He argues against the hegemony of the written word through the suggestion that photography can overcome many problems and provide 'appropriate learning experiences for the digital world'.
