Thank you for trekking all the way down to my Crimspace Page (think of it as a tiny cyber-space cubicle where I happily wait to be of service to you) and thank you for being a part of this community.
I am not gifted in brevity so by way of introduction, I will direct those of you who can spare the time to my personal blog (think of it as my permanent place of residence on cyber-space where you have been granted an open invitation) just to find out a bit about ME
For those who are pressed for time, I will say a bit about myself.
I am an African woman born in the country of Zimbabwe; pursuing post-graduate studies at the University of Sussex in the United Kingdom. I identify as feminist (a very radical tag to wear when you're from a patriarchal society as mine); I am a writer, an award-winning journalist, an internationally recognized blogger affiliated to the Washington Foreign Press Center Bloggers For Change alumni.
I have always been opinionated and gender activism served as a wonderful outlet for my varied protestations on social injustice, inequality, marginalization and uneven distribution or access to resources.
But now as I grow older; I seek a basis for the things I have unquestioningly believed - so research becomes a place to start this interrogation of the world and of the people in it.
In the words of, Frances Wright:
"All that I say is, examine, inquire. Look into the nature of things. Search out the grounds of your opinions, the for and against. Know why you believe, understand what you believe, and possess a reason for the faith that is in you."
Consider this brief post to be the equivalent of a cyber-space handshake and accompanying that gesture I wish to say, "it's a pleasure to meet you!".

I would like to send you more details about the event.
Thank you in anticipation of your usual swift response and consideration.
